Kocekce imitates the sound of the kemence, an ethnic instrument found in the Eastern Black Sea coast of Turkey. Smaller then the violin and played on ones lap, the music this instrument plays is always fast and chordal as the bridge is flat. Of course the passion and effects of modern violin is added to all this.
