Commissioned by Istanbul Museum of Modern Art to honor the rare viewing of Burhan Dogancay's Symphony in Blue (1987) as part of the Fifty Years of Urban Walls, a Burhan Dogancay retrospective, Symphony in Blue for solo piano was premiered by Huseyin Sermet at the Museum on June 26, 2012.
